Each modeldock build cd has a professionally printed cover with printed insert and plastic sleeve. All images contained on the cd's are colour images which also give an illustrated aid not only to construction but also to the stages of painting the model.

The models listed below typically have taken themodeldock around three to five months each to complete and are aimed more at the experienced modeller.

The Build CD's show photographs taken during various stages of the build and do not contain the very simple steps. We respect the rudimentary skills required by the modeller undertaking these projects and therefore do not wish to patronise by showing the simple gluing of every part. What we do illustrate are certain key stages and very importantly the painting of the model which progresses during the construction rather than be painted at the end of the project which, using the spray paint techniques we deploy, would be impossible.

The CD's typically contain 30 - 40 clear colour images, with the recent new additions each with in excess of 100 pics which can be printed off from your PC to form an illustrated guide to be used along with the instructions contained in the kit plus photographs of the finished vessel. The CD DOES NOT dispense with the need to keep the written/illustrated instructions provided with the kit. Also, to the purchaser, we offer discretional on-line help if you get really stuck 'in-build'.

The Build CD of your next project can also be purchased prior to the kit to show the ease or difficulty of the undertaking.

The steps of the build are those of themodeldock. Other modellers may choose to build and paint their project in different stages. 'Modellers License' is what makes our hobby so absorbing and fascinating.
