Pictured above hard at work in the 'Boat Room' is Graham Walker, the driving force behind themodeldock. A modeller of many years experience now bringing his work to the attention of many enthusiasts around the world. The success of themodeldock website has brought praise from fellow modellers in such far flung places as America, New Zealand, Australia, Europe as well as the UK.

Like many, as a small boy, Graham delved into model Airfix kits and the like but always had a passion for models of the marine persuasion. This continued through his teenage years and into early manhood first dabbling into the world of radio control kits with the purchase of a Billings Banckert tug. Looking back he says his first effort was 'barely passable' but nonetheless thoroughly absorbing and enjoyable - From then on he was hooked!

2006 now finds Graham a new and regular contributor to Model Boats magazine with various interesting articles in the pipeline. The commission side of themodeldock is very busy (When will he ever get time to finish his own projects - Seabex One & Berlin - Big Boys Toys those two!).

Now Graham is letting fellow modellers see his 'twist' on kit construction by launching a range of photographic build CD's of the models he has constructed, an informative aid to those considering their next exciting project.

Graham has a real passion for marine kit modelling and wishes that, like he does, all fellow enthusiasts relax and enjoy what is after all a fabulous and engaging hobby which for him has created many friendships - After all, this is what it is all about.
