Once we have discussed your requirements and agreed on the project we will provide you with an estimate for the build.

We only build model boat kits. No scratch building, part builds or renovations.

If you accept this we will confirm in writing and this becomes the price for the job.

Any quote is itemised and includes the cost of adhesives and paint where appropriate.

Once agreed we then require a £50 non-refundable deposit to place you in our order queue. There is no fixed time for commencement or completion of your model boat as some times of the year are busier than others. We will advise you at the time of taking your order.

As you can see by examples on our website we build to a high standard and are meticulous during both construction and painting of the model. We really are proud to present you with a model boat that will take pride of place on the water.

If you have access to the internet and an e-mail address we will send periodical photographs and build progress to keep you updated. If you keep all the information you will have your very own record from opening of the box to completion.

Payment of the completed model can be at the end of the build if you wish, but we reserve the right to keep the model until final payment has been made either by cash or cleared cheque.

We can deliver the model to you (Fuel & Costs) or you can pick it up yourself (We are based just outside of Manchester). You could use a carrier but we prefer the first two options.

IMPORTANT: The Modeldock reserve the right to terminate the build at anytime during construction, the customer being charged for work completed up untill the time of cesation of build.
